چکیده
Regression testing is challenging because of its complexity and the amount effort time it requires, especially in large-scale environments with continuous integration delivery. test selection prioritization techniques have been proposed literature to address regression challenges, but adoption rates these industry are not encouraging. One possible reasons could be disparity goals literature. This work compares research perspective practice on goals, corresponding information needs, metrics required evaluate goals. Regression Testing in Research And Practice
Regression testing is a costly but crucial problem in software development. Both the research community and the industry have paid much attention to this problem. However, are the issues they concerned the same? The paper try to do the survey of current research on regression testing and current practice in industry and also try to find out whether there are gaps between them. The observations ...

The ICIS 2009 Call for Papers states that “[o]ur discipline faces an unprecedented challenge as we struggle for relevancy in the face of changing demographics and world events. More to the point, much of our research is being questioned in terms of impact, both real and potential”. Such an assessment, if true, suggests a dangerous situation for the IS field, and significant challenges for its f...

متن کاملUsing research to inform learning technology practice and policy: a qualitative analysis of student perspectives
As learning technologies are now integral to most higher education student learning experiences, universities need to make strategic choices about what technologies to adopt and how to best support and develop the use of these technologies, particularly in a climate of limited resources. Information from students is therefore a valuable contribution when determining institutional goals, buildin...
